Half Moon Bay Birding with ABA

Judy and I attended the Annual Meeting of the
 American Birding Association

We "birded" in groups of 20.

Our group leader: Alvaro Jaramillo

 A couple of close-ups.

California Thrasher
Pelagic Cormorant (with a crab snack)

A pelagic boat trip closed the event.

Jeff Gordon, ABA President, welcomed us on the dock.

The seas were rough,

and it rained, but
we got a great look at the Black-footed Albatross.

Cameras: Canon 7D with EOS 100-400 mm L IS and Canon G9
