Somewhat smaller birds can be spotted by the trail and overhead.

Even some of the smaller birds present themselves for easy viewing.

Marbled Godwits
And the smallest--can you find them?

Snowy Plover
Belding's Savannah Sparrow

Ducks too!

Bufflehead
Pintails
Greater Scaup

See you there.

Notes.

The wetlands are located across PCH from Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach, California. Wikipedia
Judy led birding tours for The Bolsa Chica Land Trust for many years. Photos taken with various Canon Cameras mated with an EF 100-400 mm L IS.
