First and Last Publication

My position at CSUF was in developmental psychology. Interestingly, this is my first publication in the American Psychological Association's journal of Developmental Psychology. Thanks to Kaybee, former student and now Duke University professor, for crafting this important contribution to the literature.

I've finally published in DP! Is this my last scientific publication?

What's in the Apple Crate?

Awaiting the next (great) product from Apple!

  • Thanks to sister-in-law Jean for the folk-lift!
  • Credit (daringfireball.net) John Gruber's "iPad deluxe" comment (5by5.tv/talkshow) for influencing my Macbook Air decision.

Not so sure...

Check out Ryan's expressions--he's certainly not too sure
about this flaming object...

IBM Cards and Vintage Tech

Still have a box of punch cards from grad school data analyses--brings back memories of submitting "jobs" at the computer center (hoping no typos) and waiting (and waiting) for print-outs.

An Atari 800 is boxed in the garage with game cartridges (e.g., Pac Mac, Donkey Kong, & Star Raider) and joysticks. Looking forward to a classic game day...

Wish I had the Apple // Plus from my research lab (still booted when returned to "property" in 2008).

CRT terminal in my first CSUF office (connected to the main-frame via modem). Remember "dot" command?
